The new WDK 10 makes it possible and in return it means less mess with different packages. This build has nothing new except that is has been rebuild with the newest Visual Studio and Windows Driver Kit This new build was tested on a Windows 10 system with a build-in Bluetooth adapter and a separate Bluetooth Dongle, as well as on a Windows 8.
So this is a multi-system Desktop build and not an Universal Driver. I am going to provide an Universal Driver as well soon, but there is some work to be done. The driver compiles fine and without any error.
The only issue is that i have to make an universal. However, i am currently not able to test the Universal Driver on a Windows Phone nor on an IoT-System, so the build is going to be purely experimental and for people that just want to give it a try. I am also not quite certain about the driver signing regarding the Universal Driver.
I have no clue whether it is possible to deactivate the driver verification on Mobile and IoT-Systems and get an unsigned driver loaded. I would assume there is some way, because devs need the ability to test drivers on the device, but that might require additional test modes, which in turn may have side effects. Is this possible? Reply 4 on: July 13,PM.
Hi all. This Script was "nearly" what I needed. I am running a 3 monitor 19" each setup. This script wouldnt allow my cursor to move past the middle of the side screens. I tried my homemade IR bar and the Wii Sensor bar, of course adjusting the calibrations appropriately and I had issues with distance accuracy and precision. I am intending on arranging a 2x2 four monitor display arrangement with possibly 4 IR-LEDs placed either in the four outer corners of the setup or on the ends of the vertical and horizontal axes.
Took me about 2 months on and off to finally get GlovePIE to consistently sense the Wiimote and now im learning scripts Reply 5 on: July 30,PM. This Part is for those of you, who does not only want to use HID Wiimote, but want to take a peak inside a driver and how i fixed the problem. HID is a protocol for input devices without a fixed setup.
Can't Connect Wii Motion Plus Remote on Windows 10 Creators Update
The protocol is self describing, which means every device is telling the host what kinds of input and outputs it got. As said the Wii Remote communication is just based on it, but not strictly followed.
Those minidrivers handle the transport specific communication with the device. The HID Wiimote replaces the minidriver for the Wii Remote and adds the additional functionality to have a fully supported game controller.
It consists of three layers. The lower Bluetooth layer handles all the Bluetooth specific stuff, like the direct communication. I just got it after a few hours of research and trial and error works flawlessly. I cannot remove the driver signature verification.
Anyone know what to do? It used to show before I installed your drivers though. Any help?
